Aviation News Item: 00268 30th Sep 2009 Malaysia Airlines and CFM seal support agreement Source: ubmaviationnews.com Malaysia Airlines and CFM have sealed an engine support agreement for the airline's 737-800 fleet. In 2008, the carrier ordered 35 firm and 20 optional aircraft with delivery commencing in the fourth quarter 2010. Under the agreement, the Franco-American consortium is to provide full support for the CFM56-7B26/3 engines including technical training, engineering and repair, as well as spare parts provisioning. |
