Aviation News Item: 00257 5th Oct 2009 Thomson Airways selects Timco for 767 maintenance and modifications Source: ubmaviationnews.com Thomson Airways and Timco Aviation Services have entered into a five-year 767-300 maintenance and modification contract. The Greensboro, North Carolina-based MRO company is to provide all scheduled heavy maintenance and modifications on the UK charter carrier's 767-300 fleet. In the first year of the programme, which started in September, winglets made by Aviation Partner Boeing (APB) and new inflight entertainment systems are to be installed. |
