Aviation News Item: 00246 7th Oct 2009 JetBlue inks IT agreement with Verizon Source: ubmaviationnews.com JetBlue Airways has signed a six-year agreement with Verizon Business to manage the airline's IT data centre and network needs, as well as provide security and IT consulting services. The IT and communication corporation is to set up an Internet-protocol-based (IP) voice and data network to support airport kiosks, wireless Internet access and a reservation system. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. |
