Aviation News Item: 00240 8th Oct 2009 Gulfstream and IAI roll out G250 Source: ubmaviationnews.com Gulfstream and its programme partner Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) rolled out the super mid-size G250 at Ben Gurion International Airport in Israel. First announced in October 2008, the mid-range business jet is scheduled for first customer deliveries in 2011. The aircraft is capable of travelling 3,400nm at 0.80 Mach and has a maximum operating speed of 0.85 Mach. With an initial cruise altitude of 41,000ft, it can climb to a maximum altitude of 45,000ft. The G250's roll-out comes two weeks after the unveiling of the G650 at the airframer's facility Savannah, Georgia. |
