Aviation News Item: 00214 16th Oct 2009 Goodrich to develop fuel nozzles for Rolls-Royce's next-gen engines Source: ubmaviationnews.com Rolls-Royce has selected Goodrich to develop a new generation of fuel nozzles for lean fuel burn on future gas turbine aero engines. The US company will also supply the fuel nozzles for Rolls' Trent XWB engines for the A350XWB. All work will be performed by the firm's engine components team in West Des Moines, Iowa. |
