Airbus has finished painting the first A330 freighter in its company livery and plans to hand over the aircraft to its flight test division before the end of October. The aircraft's first flight is expected to take place in November and its certification scheduled for spring 2010 with deliveries due to begin in the summer. The current weight of the aircraft is approximately 500kg (1,100lb) below the originally estimated empty operating weight.
