BDN Aerospace Marketing Opens Access To Rotorcraft Publication Readership Survey
Source: verticalmag.com
Which rotorcraft magazines are read from cover to cover? And which are skimmed or never seen?
Get the answer to these - and many more related questions - in BDN Aerospace Marketing's exclusive Rotorcraft Publication Survey. The survey results, originally available only to those who registered, are now posted for everyone at: http://www.bdnaerospace.com/ under the Expertise/White Papers categories.
The company surveyed 1,000 rotorcraft industry professionals to learn what media they read, why they read them, and the factors that influence buying behavior.
The results have generated an industry buzz, and multiple aerospace marketers have said they are using the information to support their 2010 ad placement planning, said BDN President Kyle Davis.
"This survey is an independent resource intended to help us all make more informed purchasing decisions," she said. "It helps put advertising sales pitches in perspective."Survey highlights include:
·Printed magazines are still the medium of choice for professional news and information, while social media has yet to really catch on.
·What influences buying behavior?Well, 51 percent said advertising is suggestive, and 43 percent said product reports are suggestive. That tells us companies should be employing a smart mix of advertising and cost-effective public relations.
·Details about which magazines are read from cover to cover, and which are skimmed or never seen plus a ranking of 19 magazines from most to least popular.
