Aviation News Item: 00196 23rd Oct 2009 ANZ implements fuel efficiency tool from BMB Source: ubmaviationnews.com Air New Zealand (ANZ) has implemented the 'Aviation Fuel Decision Support' (AFDS) software tool, a fuel usage monitoring, analysis and reporting application, created by the Canadian company BMB Fuel Services. The aim is to "drive further fuel and emissions savings through detailed monitoring of fuel usage and the tracking of our fuel saving initiatives", noted Captain David Morgan, GM airline operations and safety for the Auckland-based carrier. |
