Aviation News Item: 00181 29th Oct 2009 Goodrich opens Brazilian facility at TAM's 'Technological Condominium' Source: ubmaviationnews.com Goodrich has opened its Brazilian facility at TAM's 'Technological Condominium' in Sao Carlos yesterday (October 28). The 4.6m square-metre (49.5m ft2) complex, which also houses the airline's maintenance centre, offers space for further companies in 22 lots of 18,000m2 (194,000ft2) each. The occupants of the facility will operate independently, but will be sharing all of the local infrastructure, including services for security, runways and hangars for aircraft, as well as technical services such as painting, electroplating and the machine shop. |
