Aviation News Item: 00165 3rd Nov 2009 Air India and Aerostar enter marketing alliance for engine overhaul Source: ubmaviationnews.com Air India's engine overhaul facility in Mumbai and UAE-based Aerostar Asset Management have created an engine MRO brand called 'The A Team'. Directed initially at the Middle Eastern market, this marketing alliance will offer repair services and management solutions for jet engines such as GE CF6-50 & 80 series, P&W 4000 series, GE-90 series and CFM56-7 series. The two companies also plan to cover the CFM56-5 series engine in the near future. |
