AvCraft Support Services, a Dornier 328 heavy maintenance provider based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Indaer, an engineering and technical services firm, have formed a JV to provide regional aircraft heavy maintenance to customers throughout the Americas. The two companies will initially offer heavy maintenance, refurbishment and aircraft modifications for ATR 42s and 72s at the AvCraft facility. They plan to create up to 50 new jobs over the next three years. Approvals from the FAA and EASA were granted in October.
