Aviation News Item: 00161 4th Nov 2009 Boeing to install Esterline EFB on 737NGs and BBJs Source: ubmaviationnews.com Boeing will start installing Esterline CMC Electronics' Class 2 'PilotView' electronic flight bag (EFB) on 737NG and BBJ aircraft, as from Q3 2010, the equipment manufacturer has said. The EFB system will be available on production aircraft and for retrofit. The airframer is currently developing a common application suite and ground infrastructure for use across Class 1, 2 and 3 EFBs, which will include Boeing and Jeppesen applications and data. |
