The Canadian charter airline Air Transat has extended its total engine support for CF6-80C2 turbofans with Lufthansa Technik (LHT), which power the carrier's A310 fleet. The contract extension covers a period of three years and includes maintenance, repair and 14 overhauls; engineering and logistics services; and spare engine coverage if necessary. The first overhaul at the MRO provider's Hamburg headquarters is scheduled for March 2010.
