Aviation News Item: 00159 5th Nov 2009 KLM to make bio-fuel test flight Source: ubmaviationnews.com KLM Royal Dutch Airlines plans to make a bio-fuel demonstration flight on November 23, which will be the first European bio-fuel test flight and also the first one with a select group of passengers. The airline will operate a 747, and one of the aircraft engines will be running on a 50:50 mixture of bio-fuel and traditional kerosene. |
