Aviation News Item: 00146 10th Nov 2009 EASA grants Embraer Part 147 MTO approval Source: ubmaviationnews.com EASA has certified Embraer has a Part 147 maintenance training organisation (MTO) for the E-Jet family (E170/175 and E190/195). The first customer is KLM Royal Dutch Airlines' regional subsidiary KLM Cityhopper, its staff are being trained at the airline's headquarters at Schiphol International Airport in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The training programme began in October and is scheduled to be concluded in approximately one month. |
