ROBINSON EVS
Forward Vision Systems and One Sky Aviation has received supplemental type certification for the enhanced vision system 100/600 for the Robinson R44 helicopter. The systems are already certificated for more than 160 models of fixed-wing general aviation aircraft, says Forward Vision, which also worked with Max Vizto develop the system.
SERVICE CONTRACT
Pratt & Whitney Canada's European customer service centre - a joint venture between P&WC and MTU Aero Engines - has clinched a four-year agreement with Falcon Aviation Services of Abu Dhabi to provide comprehensive maintenance support for PT6T-3DF Twin-Pac(R) engines installed on Falcon's fleet of Bell 412EP helicopters.
HELICOPTER UPGRADES
US helicopter broker Cannon Aviation has appointed maintenance and completions company United Rotorcraft Solutions to customise an AgustaWestland A119 Koala, two Bell 407s and a Eurocopter EC130 for private owners. The aircraft are scheduled for completion in February.
