Aviation News Item: 00141 11th Nov 2009 CAA grants Rockwell Collins 737NG FFS Level D certification Source: ubmaviationnews.com The UK CAA has granted Rockwell Collins 737NG full flight simulator (FFS) JAR-FSTD A Level D, zero flight time certification. The device, which is part of the company's 'Edge' family of simulators, utilises 'CORE' simulation architecture. This setup features common open reusable elements, such as scalable software adaptable for multiple training devices. The FFS has been installed at CTC Aviation Group's crew training centre near Southampton. |
