Rolls-Royce has signed a tenancy agreement with the Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP). Working closely with local industry and academics, OSyS, the wholly owned subsidiary of the UK-based OEM, is to establish a research, training and development programme in the QSTP. One objective is to create an asset optimisation centre (AOC) for commercial airlines to enhance operational and environmental performance. In addition, alternative fuel research will be undertaken with industry and academic partners.
