Avidyne Corporation has received certification of their new Entegra Release 9 Integrated Flight Deck (IFD) system.

Avidyne has received Technical Standard Order Approval (TSO) for the Entegra Release 9 suite, which is being retrofitted into existing Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft.

Avidyne's Entegra Release 9-equipped SR22 will be available for demonstration flights throughout the week at the upcoming Sun 'n Fun Fly-In in Lakeland, Florida.

As part of Avidyne's Entegra Release 9 Integrated Flight Deck retrofit, the company's Entegra FMS900W WAAS-enabled GPS/NAV/COM Flight Management System (FMS) also received Technical Standard Order (TSO) certification. Designed to reduce workload for single-pilot IFR operations, the FMS900W utilises fully-redundant, VHF and TSO C146b Gamma 3-compliant GPS sensors for its easy-to-use FMS.
