Nuremberg-based Aero-Dienst has expanded its range of services for Dassault customers and has been approved with immediate effect by the Luftfahrtbundesamt (the German Aviation Authorities) as a maintenance organisation for the Falcon 7X aircraft type in accordance with EASA/ FAR Part 145.
Dassault has also appointed the company as Authorized Service Center (ASC) for the 7X. As such Aero-Dienst not only offers AOG services round the clock but also carries out all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities as well as repair services under warranty and "Falcon Care Programs".
In addition, the company has also been appointed as Recognized Maintenance Facility (RMF) and Mobile Repair Team (MRT) for the PW300 engine series by Canadian engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney.
The some 100 mechanics and licensed engineers in Nuremberg will handle engine maintenance and in addition take on the removal and installation, and the necessary inspections of loaner engines of this type.
A PW307 loaner engine will also be stored at Aero-Dienst's Nuremberg base in order to make it easily available to customers operating Falcon 7X aircraft. This avoids lengthy down times for their aircraft in case of engine incidents.
