Aircraft management and charter company Corporate Air Travel has been certified by the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO).

"This was a difficult process", said Leigh Stanley, Assistant Director of Operations. "IS-BAO requires development of programmes, systems, processes and procedures to meet international standards and best practices. Corporate Air Travel joins the expanding list of proactive flight departments who have implemented IS-BAO and SMS to manage the safety, security, efficiency, and effectiveness of their operations."

Built around a Safety Management System (SMS), IS-BAO offers a quality management approach to controlling risk that helps form the core of a company's safety efforts. The SMS provides company managers with a detailed roadmap for monitoring safety-related processes.
