Former CFO Michael Kuhn will assume the post of Chief Executive Officer and head of operations for DC Aviation, a provider of business jets based in Germany. Kuhn has been in charge of the company's commercial operations since April 2009.

After two years of successful leadership, previous CEO Steffen Fries and the company have mutually agreed to part ways. "The engagement showed by Steffen Fries allowed us to successfully steer the company through two years that were especially turbulent economically for the business aviation branch," says Dr. Lutz Helmig, owner of DC Aviation.

Kuhn has been an expert on mobility and transport issues for more than 20 years. Prior to his stint at the company, he held management positions for several years within the Goodyear corporate group. He's also an MBA graduate, with previous experience as a marketing manager in the automobile industry. "I am confident that Michael Kuhn, with his knowledge of the company and proven management experience in leadership positions, will successfully develop and lead DC Aviation," continues Dr. Helmig.
