New Paint & Aircraft Refurbishment Centre Now Fully Commissioned at Doncaster
Source: fly-corporate.com
Directions CIC and Marshall Business Aviation's new Paint & Aircraft Refurbishment Centre is now fully commissioned at Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster Sheffield, and ready to accept aircraft from a number of high-profile aircraft operators.
With significant funding from Yorkshire Forward (the Regional Development Agency for Yorkshire and the Humber), Directions CIC have transformed Robin Hood airport's Hangar 2 into an integrated maintenance and refurbishment centre dedicated entirely to corporate aircraft. Using Marshall's experience as a Cessna Citation Service Centre, the 30,000 sq ft facility was designed with the company's help; Marshall will be a tenant in the facility whilst contributing several contracts to support operations.
Providing a complete maintenance and refurbishment service for corporate jets and helicopters up to super mid-size, the centre has installed two advanced modular paint pods whilst the hangar can accommodate up to 10 aircraft undergoing maintenance.
