While others are contemplating the fate of business aviation in the face of a global economic crises, Qatar Airways is betting its money on the industry's continued success.

At the Paris Airshow, the airline announced that it would be entering the business aviation marketplace with the launch of a corporate jet subsidiary called Qatar Executive. Using two Bombardier Challenger 605 aircraft and a Challenger 300, Qatar will be the newest contender in the on-demand business charter market. Qatar Executive will be launched officially this autumn.
