Jet Aviation Receives Approval for New Fatigue Management Regulations

Jet Aviation's EMEA & Asia aircraft management division recently received an operator approval certificate for new regulations on duty time by the Bermuda Department of Civil Aviation (DCA). This includes the introduction of limitations in duty time for the first time for private operators.

According to the Bermuda DCA, management by an approved operator with regards to operations, safety and fatigue management will become mandatory as of 31 October 2009. Bermuda is the first country to implement the respective order for all privately held aircraft.
