FlightSafety Reaches Out to Unemployed Pilots

FlightSafety International has launched the Proficiency Protection programme designed to help business aircraft pilots and maintenance technicians who have become involuntarily unemployed since 1 January 2009.
Pilots of business aircraft who were training under a FlightSafety Full Service contract at the time of job loss may receive a recurrent training course at no cost. Maintenance technicians who were enrolled in FlightSafety's Master Technician programme at the time of job loss may receive the next course towards their Master Technician rating at no cost.
The training must be started by 31 December 2009.
