The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) has contracted Montreal, Canada-based CAE to supply two 7000 series ARJ21-700 level D full-flight simulators (FFS) to COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Company. The contract is valued at approximately C$35m at list price. The simulators will incorporate full six-degree-of-freedom CAE true electric motion systems and new generation CAE Tropos-6000 visual systems, liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) projectors and 200- by 40-degree field-of-view visual displays.
