328 Support Services Orders First WEPPS Kit

 STG Aerospace has received its first Wireless Emergency Primary Power System (WEPPS) order from 328 Support Services GmbH (328 SSG).
328 Support Services, the Germany-based MRO organisation specialising in the maintenance and VIP conversion of Dornier 328 aircraft, has initially ordered five WEPPS kits. These kits will primarily be installed on VIP conversion aircraft, but this modification can also be retrofitted on standard 30-seat passenger versions of both the 328 Jet and Turboprop.
Under an agreement ratified between STG and 328 Support Services in January this year, STG will supply the company with WEPPS and 328 Support Services will certify the product through an STC Modification. Through 328 Support Services, WEPPS will be available to operators flying any of the over 200 Dornier 328 aircraft worldwide.
