Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. has announced the official financial close of its deal to become the majority owner of Brazilian flight support services provider Cavok Servicos Auxiliares de Transportes Aereos Ltda (CAVOK).
CAVOK was founded by Mauro Camargo in 2000 and provides Brazilian operators flight support services such as flight planning and obtaining permits, as well as arranging handling, fuel, hotels and more.
"Brazil is home of the largest corporate aviation base in South America and one of the fastest-growing business aviation markets in the world," said Scott Moore, Director, Trip Support Services International, Universal. "CAVOK is a well-respected local company, with an existing and loyal client base."
Camargo added, "Our clients can still rely on our local expertise, but now also have access to Universal's full range of services, such as Trip Support Services, the UVair Fuel Program, Universal Aviation, and online trip planning tools.
