Source: fly-corporate.com
Shortly after the beginning of the global downturn, business aircraft activity was hit by a slump in demand but the trend of recent weeks suggests activity could rise to meet 2008 levels in the near term.
TRAQPak data shows July business aircraft activity increased 6% from June 2009. July 2009 activity was slightly below July 2008 at -7.9%, with small cabin aircraft showing the greatest variance at -13.8%. ARG/US estimates flight activity has dropped an average of -0.01% per month for the last twelve months, with total flight activity -21.99% lower year over year.
ARG/US TRAQPak data is serial-number specific aircraft arrival and departure information on all IFR flights in the US (including Alaska and Hawaii).
