Gulfstream Aerospace Receives FAA Approval to Perform G150 Maintenance

Source: fly-corporate.com

Gulfstream Aerospace received approval from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to perform engine and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) maintenance on Gulfstream G150 aircraft at its facility in Long Beach, Calif. It was previously approved by the FAA to perform airframe maintenance.

This means that the facility now provides comprehensive service for all in-service Gulfstream business jets. The FAA's authorisation allows Gulfstream Long Beach technicians and mechanics to service and support G150 operators at the Long Beach facility and in the field. The facility is approved for maintenance and alterations, excluding overhaul, on the aircraft's Honeywell TFE 731-40A twin engines and its Honeywell RE100 APU.

Located at Long Beach Airport, this Gulfstream facility has been in operation since 1986.
