GDA Services-Lincoln Receives EASA Approval for Parts Repair/Overhaul

Source: fly-corporate.com

The General Dynamics Aviation Services facility in Lincoln, Calif., received approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to perform component-level maintenance for generators, alternators, convertors and instruments on aircraft registered for operation in European Union countries.

The approval applies to Gulfstream business-jet aircraft and a number of non-Gulfstream aircraft, including Bombardier, Dassault Falcon and Hawker Beechcraft.

The Lincoln facility, which is approximately 30 miles northeast of Sacramento, is the only General Dynamics Aviation Services site that specialises in electrical component repairs and overhaul. The 34,000 sq ft facility employs 24 technicians with a combined 362 years of experience.
